I graduated From John F. Kennedy University in 2018 with a specialty in Somatic Therapy and have worked in numerous different clinical settings in my career: private practice clinics, community colleges, an emergency children’s shelter, as well as working online via different tele-health platforms. Alongside being a therapist I am a movement artist specializing in tribal fusion bellydance and animation style dance. I low to sew, read, and enjoy living in the beautiful forest of Northern California where I spend a lot of time out in nature. My extensive travel experiences also inform my culturally sensitive therapeutic approach.
In therapy, I help thoughtful women untangle anxiety, OCD, relationship struggles, and old attachment wounds so they can reconnect with themselves and move through life with greater confidence and self-trust. Many of the women I work with are intelligent, insightful, and deeply self-aware, yet still find themselves stuck in anxiety, rumination, people-pleasing, perfectionism or self doubt.
I don’t believe this means there’s something wrong with you.
In my experience, many of our struggles make sense when we understand what happened to us rather than focusing on what’s wrong with us. The anxious thoughts, protective behaviors, and survival strategies that frustrate you today often developed for very understandable reasons.
One of the core goals of therapy is developing what I can self-intimacy- a deeper, more trusting relationship with yourself.
Self intimacy means learning to approach your inner world with curiosity instead of criticism. It means understanding your emotions without being controlled by them and developing enough trust in yourself that uncertainty no longer dictates your choices.
My approach combines insight, practical skills, and meaningful emotional experiences that help create lasting change using evidence-based approaches. Together, we’ll explore the patterns that shaped you, strengthen your connection to yourself, and build the tools needed to navigate the inevitable uncertainties of life.
Whether you’re seeking therapy for anxiety, OCD, CPTSD, relationship challenges, self-esteem struggles or a major life transition, my hope is that our work helps you develop greater self-trust, emotional freedom, and a stronger relationship to yourself.
Because healing isn’t fixing yourself.
It’s coming home to yourself, to what is already there underneath the defenses and survival strategies you’ve needed to get as far as you have.
